Transdev in Modesto, CAis hiring Utility Cleaners.The Utility Cleaner is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Key Responsibilities: + Washes interior of vehicles using power washer and brushes, sweeps, mops and removes trash from vehicles. + Report any safety or physical damage issues to Supervisor. + Must be available to work nights, weekends and Holidays. + Cleans/Details interior of cars & buses, windows, stanchions, sweeping, mopping, graffiti and drivers' front area on bus. + Performs light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities. + Reports any maintenance issues to Supervisor. + Other duties as required. Skills and Knowledge Required: + Good oral communication skills. + Ability to read and follow written and spoken instructions. + Ability to read, comprehend and abide by Material Safety Data Sheets and all other safety training materials provided. + Ability to learn shop processes including cleaning vehicles. + Ability to mix and use a variety of cleaning products. + Ability to use a variety of equipment such as buffers, scrubbing machines and other heavy cleaning equipment. + Strong attention to details. + Knowledge of shop safety standards. + Must be well organized. + Must be able to read and write in English. + Must have valid Driver's License. + Must be self-motivated and able to perform without constant or immediate supervision. + Must be able to work flexible hours or shifts. + Ability to work as a team.
