Qualifications
- Trading Control Coordinator: Bachelor's Degree or applicable experience with an associates degree
- Trading Control Analyst: Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years of experience in energy industry with an associates degree
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Solid aptitude for math, market economics, accounting, finance, and auditing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and familiarity with ACES systems.
- Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and prioritize their resolution.
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks and challenges.
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and focus.
- Organized, dependable, able to prioritize tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures the accuracy and integrity of the data in the risk management systems by performing various reconciliations and reports errors accordingly.
- Monitors trader compliance with established trading authority limits and maintains records of approval documentation.
- Assists the settlements group with reconciliation by retrieving voice recordings and investigating discrepancies.
- Assists with the SOC 1 Review by complying with auditors' requests.
- Reviews external confirmation letters and broker reports for accuracy.
- Monitors transactions executed by ACES traders and clients, as requested, for execution at fair market value.
- Captures transactions executed by ACES' clients in the risk management system and updates as needed.
- Assists in training Trading Control and Front Office personnel and associates.
- Assists with the implementation of new clients, services, markets, or commodities.
- Assists with the implementation of new systems or processes related to trade execution, deal capture, deal validation, or transaction reporting.
- Generates daily and monthly reports as needed and provides to appropriate client or internal personnel.
- Promptly reports trading authority policy and/or operational exceptions to Trading Control management.
- Reviews and analyzes current Trading Control processes for areas of improvement. Utilizes the available tools such as Access or ACES risk system to automated processes to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
- Assists in monitoring procedures and data in the risk system to ensure compliance with Dodd Frank reporting and recordkeeping requirements.
- Works closely with Trading Control staff and Trading Control Management and functions as a backup as necessary.
- Participates as an active team member by attending meetings, showing respect for co-workers, encouraging feedback, contributing insights and opinions, and reflecting a positive work ethic.
- Ability to travel.
- Adheres to and is supportive of all ACES corporate policies and complies with all regulatory requirements including but not limited to NERC, FERC and relevant state regulations as applicable to the position.
