What does a successful Software Development Engineering Professional do?At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Software Development Engineering Professional, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

What you will do:

  • Design, develop, and implement software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes.

What you will need to have:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development.
  • 1+ year of experience in VB.net, Cobol, C#, or similar programming languages.
  • 1+ year of experience in SQL databases.
  • 1+ year of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
  • 1+ year of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • 1+ year of experience with Agile methodologies.
  • 3+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
  • To be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for any visa sponsorship, including OPT, STEM, F1, or H1b, both now and in the future.

Important information about this role:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
