Job Description

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the warehouse, including managing inventory levels, organizing storage, ensuring timely shipping and receiving, implementing safety protocols, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations by optimizing space and workflow and all while adhering to compliance regulations.

Responsibilities :

• Maintaining accurate inventory levels by receiving, storing, and managing stock, including forecasting demand and proper product placement.
• Overseeing the process of receiving incoming goods and shipping outgoing orders, including quality checks and timely delivery. Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material.
• Implementing and maintaining efficient procedures, optimizing storage space, and streamlining workflows to maximize productivity.
• Arrange appropriate transportation of products, including assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise or material as required.
• Assist sales team (customers) with shipping inquiries
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software. Basic programing, installation and troubleshooting on our locks systems.
• Understanding and enforcing industry safety standards.
• Communicating with shipping companies to set up pick ups and troubleshoot shipping delays and determine appropriate solutions.
• Answer phone as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields.
• Experience with Microsoft Office including CRM required.
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Strong organizational skills
• Good communication skills
