In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Use approved chemicals to disinfect surfaces
• Disassemble, sanitize and reassemble food processing equipment.
• Dispose of waste along the production areas
• Keep and maintain sanitation logs.
• General cleaning in all areas ( Break room, restrooms, office areas, production areas).
• Make sure all debris is removed from the ground. 
• Sweep and mop designated areas and empty garbage as needed.
• Clear communication with the team and supervisor on the assurance of completed duties.
• Assist with production when needed.
• Work closely with the QA team to follow all GMP practices.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Previous experience in sanitation, preferable in food manufacturing
• Forklift experience is preferred.

Compensation

United States-based roles only: The wage for this role is between $23 - $26 per hour, plus immediate participation in our benefits program (health, dental, 401k, and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. All employees are owners of Voyage Foods and receive an equity grant as part of their total package. At Voyage Foods, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
