Job Title: Research Associate III

Position Summary:
We are looking for a Research Associate III to support analytical and technical work focused on nitrosamines and impurities analysis. This role centers around method development and chemical analysis using LC/MS/MS techniques and requires close collaboration with internal subject matter experts. The position is fully lab-based and demands strong communication skills, validated method experience, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform chemical analyses for nitrosamines and extractables & leachables (E&L) using LC/MS/MS, wet chemistry, and advanced sample preparation methods
Carry out solid-phase extraction (SPE) and liquid-liquid extraction (LLE)
Develop and validate analytical methods, particularly using Agilent instruments and MassHunter software
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HPLC/UHPLC systems with APCI or ESI ionization sources
Generate, interpret, and present accurate scientific data to cross-functional teams
Prepare protocols, technical summaries, and formal reports in accordance with GLP and GDP standards
Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN) and ensure compliance with internal SOPs, Quality Manuals, and EHS&S guidelines
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders
Support the maintenance of a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment
Required Qualifications:
Proven hands-on experience with LC/MS/MS techniques and mass spectrometry
Proficiency in Agilent MassHunter software and equipment
Strong background in analytical or organic chemistry, with expertise in wet chemistry and instrumental methods
Effective technical problem-solving and scientific documentation skills
Clear and professional communication skills
Organized, self-driven, and capable of working independently and within a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Education & Experience:
PhD in Chemistry or related field with 0 3 years of industry experience
OR Master's degree with 3 5 years of relevant experience
OR Bachelor's degree with 5 7 years of industry experience in a chemistry-related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or chemicals
Familiarity with method validation and regulated sample testing
Strong interpersonal skills and experience working on cross-functional teams
Additional Notes:
Local candidates are strongly preferred due to the onsite lab requirement
Candidates with LC/MS method validation experience (beyond nitrosamines) are encouraged to apply
