Job Description



The EVERSANA/Meitheal Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will achieve territory sales goals by promoting XENLETA to physicians as well as other medical personnel within their assigned geography. The Representative will educate physicians and office staff on the use, characteristics, advantages, indicated treatments, and all other developments related to promoted products. The Representative will professionally represent our client in the field and ensure high levels of visibility and customer satisfaction in the territory. The Representative will maintain effective communication and relationships with key external and internal customers. This position is responsible for achieving both territory product sales goals and territory sales activity goals through company defined metrics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve territory product sales goals while maintaining adherence to ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and all applicable promotional regulations
  • Effectively promote and educate targeted physicians and healthcare professionals (HCPs) on the use of XENLETA through one-on-one meetings, group presentations, company-approved speaker programs, and other sanctioned methods
  • Maintain a field presence five days per week, with office time as needed for call planning, customer follow-up, presentation preparation, appointment scheduling, and report generation
  • Ensure high levels of call activity and field productivity
  • Execute company-approved marketing strategies and support regional and territory business plan initiatives
  • Utilize approved resources, sales materials, and promotional activities to support targeted customers as directed by sales leadership
  • Implement and track territory strategy through annual territory business plans, regional business plans, and call activity reports
  • Submit accurate and timely documentation, including sales call activities, territory expenses, and written reports, in accordance with leadership-defined deadlines
  • Attend all required company-sponsored sales and medical meetings
  • Balance individual sales responsibilities with participation in regional projects, maintaining strong sales performance
  • Demonstrate proficiency in core competencies and a solid level of sales influence within the territory
  • Travel throughout the territory, including overnight, as needed to meet call plan objectives
  • Consistently demonstrate strong knowledge of the disease state, product, competitive landscape, and market dynamics
  • Understand and navigate territory-specific access and managed care requirements
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications



MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university required
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful business-to-business sales experience and/or relevant pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience
  • Experience calling on primary care physicians preferred
  • Proven ability to learn, comprehend, and apply medical, scientific, and commercial information to drive product utilization
  • Strong sales aptitude demonstrated through education and/or professional experience
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment
  • Tenacious and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships in environments with limited access to decision makers
  • Proactive self-starter with a solutions-oriented approach
  • Strong motivational and persuasion skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight, as required
