Job Description

Job Summary: The Part-Time Center Associate at The UPS Store in Nashua, New Hampshire is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients. This is a part-time, hourly position in the franchise industry. The Center Associate will work on an individual basis and report to the store manager. Compensation & Benefits: The compensation for this position is $15 to $17 per hour, paid on a weekly basis. As a part-time employee, the Center Associate will have access to limited benefits, such as paid time off and employee discounts.

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments using UPS shipping software
• Accurately calculate shipping rates and assist customers with selecting the best shipping options
• Handle cash and credit card transactions for shipping and other services
• Keep store and work area clean and organized
• Receive and process packages for storage or pickup
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
• Assist with print and copy services, including operating printers, copiers, and other equipment
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on new services and promotions
• Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in UPS shipping software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50lbs
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
