We are searching for a full time Overnight Loss Prevention Associate who will work primarily at our location in Garden City.  General Info: Candidates with a current badge to work in the cannabis industry in Colorado will be given heavy preference. If you do not have that, you can apply for this by clicking HERE! ( ( This is a full time, overnight role, regularly scheduled around 40 hours per week. The schedule is Thursday-Saturday from 6 pm - 6 am, and every other Wednesday from 6 pm - 6 am.  We're looking for a well-rounded candidate with experience in customer service, security, and retail. Prior experience in the cannabis industry is a strong advantage. The ideal candidate is friendly, team-oriented, and enjoys working with both customers and colleagues. Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment are essential. As we operate in a highly regulated industry, strict adherence to rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures is critical. A high level of integrity is required, as this role involves handling both cannabis products and cash in a security-sensitive setting. Pay - this position starts at $16/hour. Our Security team works closely with the retail and operational parts of our business.  Basic Functions of the Job: Uphold the state laws and the organization's rules for both customers and employees. Observe multiple camera feeds on a bank of monitors. Report unusual activity seen at any location to appropriate leadership. Observe other locations via extensive security camera system, to provide back up and support when needed.  Escort vendors and visitors around the property. Pocket checks: visually inspect to ensure no marijuana products are on employees as they exit the facility—no physical contact or touching of employees during pocket checks. Check temperatures and humidity levels of facility grow areas once the last cultivator leaves Investigate and report any suspicious activities or incidents. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary. Ideal Skills and Experience: Previous loss prevention experience or security preferred. High ethical standards, and willingness to follow all rules by the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) and the organization. Basic computer skills needed to operate camera systems, and keep up with communication and logs.  Strong attention to detail and observational skills. Ability to work independently and handle high-stress situations. Excellent communication skills. We are an EEO Employer.
