Position Details:
Patient Population: Adults, low-volume ED + observation unit (2–3 patients)
Setting: Rural Emergency Department and Observation Unit
Responsibilities: Manage observation unit; assist ED physician when not rounding
Required Procedures: None specified
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: Supervision by ED physician
Days Per Month: Flexible, prefer block scheduling
On-Call/Weekends: No call; weekends may be required
Submission Requirements:
Board Certified – Required
Active NY License – Required
BLS, ACLS – Required
NY DEA – Required
Able to work blocks – Required
