We're looking for a Generator Technician to maintain and install generator equipment for our local customers that will help to prevent massive power outages. Every generator installed helps save the day for thousands of households and commercial buildings. Responsibilities:

• Service/repair generators, change air filters, change oil, check battery levels, check spark plugs, etc.
• Generator Installations.
• Perform on-site planned maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and troubleshooting for customers generators.
• (including DC & AC voltage equipment)
• Work independently or with a small team with a work vehicle serving residential and commercial standby generators.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience with generators, transfer switches, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of internal combustion engines and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical documents and service manuals for diagnostics and troubleshooting repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and work outside.
• A valid drivers license.
