Janitor - CARPET CLEANING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK

Temporary from June 2 - August 8, Monday- Friday, $15 per hour

SUMMARY:

This is an event driven position. Therefore, schedules and working hours and days are based of events’ schedule. This position will be assigned to the candidate who is willing to really work hard and be flexible to work different days and time. This is a project-based position, so the days, times and locations may vary. Most work sites are in the Orlando area. Must be able to go to the office in Sanford to pick up a uniform.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Perform thorough carpet cleaning using industry-standard equipment and environmentally friendly products.
• Assess carpet conditions and determine appropriate cleaning methods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns during service.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Complete job reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Must be able to lift and handle 50 pounds
• Experience using a truck mount and/or portable cleaning machine.

ILLUSTRATIVE TASKS

This position primarily provides janitorial services, such as keeping a building clean by routine dusting; mopping, vacuuming, waxing, or polishing floors; emptying trash; cleaning or washing interior walls; and cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing restrooms. Assigned to janitorial service companies that perform various types of maintenance or minor repair work for upkeep of a building. These maintenance or minor repair operations may include, but are not limited to, painting, cleaning windows, changing light bulbs, assisting occupants in the placement of furniture, replacing glass panes, clearing drains, and cleaning carpets.

COMPENSATION

Pay for this position is $15.00 per hour
