Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility in the Parlier area. This position, which may transition to a permanent role, involves managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining a clean and safe workplace. Responsibilities: - Supervise and manage daily plant operations, ensuring productivity and efficiency. - Lead, guide, and direct employees to achieve operational goals. - Operate and provide backup support for production equipment, including Pacmac Vertical Form/Fill baggers and Lee Pre-made Pouch baggers. - Conduct shipping and receiving tasks, such as staging orders and loading/unloading trucks. - Monitor inventory levels and execute monthly physical inventory checks. - Collaborate with the Food Safety Manager to maintain compliance with food safety regulations and prepare for audits. - Oversee routine maintenance of equipment and the facility to ensure safety and cleanliness. - Operate forklifts as needed to support operational tasks. - Perform miscellaneous tasks as they arise to support overall plant functionality. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within manufacturing. - Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and direct teams. - Proficiency in operating production equipment and familiarity with Pacmac and Lee baggers is a plus. - Forklift operation experience is required. - Solid understanding of facility and food safety regulations. - Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. - Experience with inventory management, including conducting physical inventory counts. - Basic knowledge of ERP systems, data processing, and compliance protocols.
