COMPANY OVERVIEW: A leading industrial services company POSITION: Estimator COMPENSATION: Competitive salary + DOE BENEFITS: Standard package LOCATION: Omaha, NE SUMMARY: Estimator is responsible for evaluating bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that everything required to successfully bid and win the project is known.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects. Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and constraints. Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs to develop competitive bids. Solicit pricing from suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare and submit accurate bid proposals and follow up with general contractors or owners. Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure the scope and requirements are understood and met. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering options. Maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred. 2+ years of estimating experience in roofing, siding, or building envelope construction (industrial sector preferred). Strong understanding of roofing and siding systems, materials, and construction methods. Proficiency in estimating software, Bluebeam, and reading construction blueprints. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
