Job Description

The Cary Company is seeking an ambitious, innovative E-Commerce Copywriter to craft persuasive, search-optimized content that drives discovery and conversion across our digital channels. You will write for product pages, category pages, email campaigns, landing pages, blogs, and social media while partnering with Marketing and Creative to elevate our brand voice and improve site performance. Also known as e-commerce content writer, digital copywriter, SEO copywriter, or product copywriter.

Compensation Range: $40,000-$50,000 Annually + Benefits & Incentives
(Compensation varies based on experience and education)
**This is an on-site role reporting to our Addison, IL facility.**

What You’ll Do:

• Write conversion-driven copy for product pages, category pages, emails, and promotional assets
• Create and refresh blogs, guides, FAQs, and resource content to support SEO and customer education
• Optimize for search (SEO) through keyword research, metadata, headings, internal linking, and accessibility best practices
• Audit and improve existing copy for clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency
• Collaborate with Marketing and Creative on digital campaigns including email, social, and site promotions
• Contribute to A/B testing and use analytics to improve click-through rates and conversion
• Maintain and evolve brand voice and style guides

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field or equivalent experience
• Strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Working knowledge of SEO and basic analytics a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a positive, team-oriented approach
