The **Division Talent Management Manager** plays a pivotal role within the Resource Industries Sales, Services & Technology (RISST) Human Resource Leadership team. This critical role oversees division succession planning, leadership development, learning and talent management strategies, organizational health, and division engagement. This position acts as a coach and partner within the division and supervises an essential support team member. **What you will do:** + Partner with Leadership to own key initiatives & deliverables such as: coordinating talent sessions to ensure a strong talent pipeline, collaborating with global business partners, benchmarking talent best practices internally and externally, partnering with other divisions to ensure cross-divisional talent pollination and leading leadership development & training. + Drive succession planning strategies, processes and ensure actionable development plans for RISST's key positions. + Accountable for divisional Employee Insights (EI) survey process. + Leverage industry and internal talent data and trends to identify insights and incorporate into talent priorities. + Find, extract, and analyze, data from Workday to solve and support a variety of business problems/people initiatives, as well as provide key people insights to the RISST Leadership team. Typical data analysis includes calculating and understanding talent metrics, required learning, development plans and completion, succession planning metrics, etc. + Facilitate development and delivery of employee development activities, such as divisional Leadership Impact Summit development and deployment, employee lifecycle (including implementation of new employee orientation and onboarding), training, and coaching. Helps to clarify, measure, and positively influence consistent behaviors needed to achieve desired business initiatives and results. + Partner with Segment Organizational & Talent Development manager to develop division learning strategies in alignment with company-wide initiatives. + Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization. **What you have:** + Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Management, or a related field. + Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. + Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. + Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner. **Top Candidates will also have:** + Significant experience working with senior leaders, HR business partners, and employees in a professional environment. + A proven track record of creating vision/strategy and translating into operational execution in Human Resource/Talent roles. + Proven skill in building talent pipelines and implementing design solutions to address significant gaps. + Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and leverage data/metrics to understand and solve people related initiatives. + Strong presentation, interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills are required to communicate within all levels of the organization. + Ability to manage sensitive matters and lead through influence. + Systems thinker that understands the connections and integration points through the entire talent management lifecycle. + Strong project and process management skills. + Able to analyze data quickly and thoroughly and provide sound business recommendations. + Strong financial/business acumen. + Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. + Experience with Workday HCM. + Familiarity with Caterpillar functional areas, policies, and procedures is preferred. **Additional information:** + The location for this position is Tucson, AZ. + Domestic relocation assistance is available. + This position may require 25% travel. + Sponsorship is not available. + This position requires the candidate to work full-time at the Tucson, AZ facility. **Employee benefit details** Our goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career.
