**Job Title: Chemical Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced General Production Worker to join our team. The role involves operating industrial machinery, including furnaces, and handling various physical tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing and be comfortable working in a demanding environment. **Responsibilities** + Operate industrial machinery and furnaces. + Handle and process barrels of tungsten powder. + Ensure the chemical process of manufacturing tungsten is carried out efficiently. + Utilize hand tools for various tasks. + Perform general production duties including assembly and machine operation. + Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in a non-climate controlled environment. + Work 12-hour shifts, either during the day or night, on a rotating schedule. **Essential Skills** + Experience in manufacturing or a related field. + Proficiency with hand tools. + Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 30 lbs. + High School Diploma or GED. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience in a chemical plant is highly preferred. + Background in mechanical, construction, or chemical industries is a plus. + Good work history and reliability. **Why Work Here?** We offer a challenging yet rewarding work environment with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a specialized field. Employees will be working around high-temperature furnaces, robots, and powdered metal. The facility can be very dirty with black powder residue and a strong ammonia smell. Training will be conducted over a two-week period, including one week at an external training facility and one week on-site. Employees must be able to train on day shifts before transitioning to their assigned schedule. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, Alabama **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
