Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Cetechs  is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business ( SDVOSB) We have an immediate need for a Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support at the Federal Correctional Facility (FCI) in Danbury, Connecticut. 

Schedule: 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m

Qualifications and Requirements :

• Certified as a Medical Assistant (must have documentation of completed coursework) 
• Must be a US Citizen
• Clinical experience working with ill patients or individuals in custody; hospital or clinic preferred 
• Active CPR certification (Basic Life Support) 

Administrative Duties: 

 

• Respond to requests from employees and clinical staff. 

• File medical records and ensure documents are accurate and complete. 

• Retrieve medical records for both clinical and admin use. 
• Maintain logs and preliminary complaint records.
• Accurately capture preliminary complaints during sick calls.

Clinical Duties  

• Obtain and accurately record vital signs.
• Draw blood (phlebotomy)
• Collect lab samples

• Perform diagnostic testing

• Perform audiometric testing (hearing)

• Perform visual testing (vision checks)

• Perform Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
