Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in West Covina, California. This position offers the potential for long-term employment and requires a proactive individual who excels in managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with various accounting software and a strong ability to maintain organized and accurate financial data. Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports. - Organize and reconcile accounts, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded. - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently. - Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in cash flow management. - Execute month-end close procedures and ensure timely reporting. - Handle payroll processing with precision and compliance. - Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Ramp to streamline operations. - Input data accurately and maintain organized bookkeeping records. - Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve financial workflows. - Assist in transitioning and implementing Sage accounting software as needed. Requirements - Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a focus on account reconciliation and financial reporting. - Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Sage Accounting Software, with at least 1 year of experience in each. - Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes. - Strong skills in bank reconciliations and month-end closing procedures. - Knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. - Experience working with Ramp software is a plus but not required. - Ability to work with detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent organizational and communication skills.
